Press releaseMonday, August 1, 2022
August 1, 2022, Centreville, VA– Systematic, Inc., a provider of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software products that simplify critical decision making, has been awarded a contract by Program Executive Office, Command Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC). The contract provides product maintenance and technical support services for SitaWare, Systematic Inc.’s C4ISR suite.
The single award, firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract has a total potential value of approximately $75 million. This includes an 11-month base period of performance with four additional one-year option periods.
SitaWare is a C4ISR software suite which provides robust situational awareness at all levels of command. Providing a common framework to converge warfighting functions, SitaWare enables soldiers with a simplified command and control system and improves interoperability with coalition forces. Each dedicated product in the SitaWare Suite is radio, network and hardware agnostic, and provides unrivalled tactical data communication. Its open and extendable framework allows for customized extensions and integrations with legacy and third-party systems, as well as user-defined information sharing.
SitaWare was initially selected in 2017 as the architecture framework for the Army’s COE, which establishes a common foundation of shared components across key Army systems. As one element of COE, CPCE provides battle management assistance to warfighters. CPCE transforms the command post by consolidating the capabilities for missions related to fires, logistics, intelligence, airspace management and maneuver into a single pane of glass environment by leveraging integrated maps, chat and other services.
“Since 2017, the Army has fielded SitaWare under CPCE to Divisions and subordinate brigade combat teams around the world,” said Systematic Inc. President Skot Butler. “We provide Mission Command with a technically mature C4ISR capability ready to deploy. SitaWare also enables reliable and efficient performance over tactical data networks, including in degraded and contested environments. SitaWare continues to evolve. With enhancements heavily influenced by Army users, we are ensuring our products meet the emerging requirements of the JADC2 vision. Systematic is proud to continue our support to Mission Command and all Army users.”
Systematic Inc. is providing the open architecture for U.S. Army mission command. Work will be performed primarily in Centreville, Virginia.
