Held in Huntsville, Al at the Von Braun Center, the conference focused on the theme "Modernizing and Equipping America's Army for Today and Tomorrow" in its quest of overall Army Readiness to “Fight Tonight” and be “Fit for Tomorrow."

Jane's International Defence Review report on the US Army's decision to broaden its use of the SitaWare C4I software suite. The US Army's Common Operating Environment (COE), which uses SitaWare Headquarters in the Command Post CE, will now include the use of SitaWare Frontline in the Mounted Computing Environment (MCE).
